The EFT Gathering
Registrations are flooding in for the EFT Gathering at the end of January - we are already 50% full. The idea of the Gathering came to me through a dream. Often I wake up with an idea or make a decision in the shower in the morning and I am beginning to wonder if these insights are given to me in dreams which I then forget. This dream I remembered: I was walking in a soft, warm, dark night through desert and after a while became aware of others at a distance walking in the same direction and that we were converging. Then there was a music and excited people noises and I was walking around and through circles of people. It was like a native american tribal gathering. The funny thing was that when I reached the centre circle the people were all tapping. Thus the idea and name of our Gathering and I hope it becomes an annual gathering of the tapping tribes!
Then more ideas came and the latest has been to add a Saturday Night Salsa Party with the Cuban Rhythms of fantastic local band Salsa Como Loco. Click on the link to hear them. The Salsa evening Saturday 31st January is open to all, you don't have to be attending the Gathering, you don't have to dance and you can bring your family and friends or strangers you meet on the train. |

The Gathering Presenters
After three EFT Masterclasses those of us who passed the old EFT Masters exam are now getting to be old hands on stage and increasingly confident in front of large audiences. But when we took the exam few of us had ever presented to more than a small EFT training group and it showed. Part of my intention in running the Gathering is to give a stage to those with something to share so that they can develop experience and confidence and let their passion shine. The programme is now finalised and we have some excellent ideas from the presenters. Take a look: Link to Programme
On the Monday after the Gathering Linda Wood who many of you know through my workshops will be leading a whole day of bears stuff. And on the Friday before Karin Gustafson will lead Let Your Passion Shine to build your communication confidence. A sought after producer and director Karin has filmed Gary Craig and all but one of the 29 EFT Masters - she knows what works in communicating EFT to large and small audiences. Too Good Natured
Reuben the young German Shepherd rescued by Jaimes Lyndley's neighbors was aggressive and highly unpredictable and Jaimes would never have dared to go anywhere near him. In our EFT Practitioner workshop Jaimes volunteered to role play Reuben in the group excercise of surrogate tapping for an animal. Read my article Two Cats and a Puppy about surrogate EFT group work for Animals.
Reuben had been cruelly treated and caged by his previous owner which resulted in rage and total hatred of mankind in the young dog. Watching EFT transform these intense emotions (expressed though role play by Jaimes) into compassion was deeply moving for the whole group. Jaimes has since sent this photo and reports that Reuben is now calm, playful and has found a good home. Talking to God
EFT and TAT trainer Joe Potter spent two days tapping and two days Meditating when we did the Exploring Consciousness with EFT event at Craiglands in April. Joe had a series of experiences which can only be described as awesome in the true sense of the word. What Joe experienced is similar to what Gary Craig told about at the Denver EFT conference a few years ago.
"Perhaps what I experienced was because of the meditation, or perhaps it was because I had been continuously tapping for two days. Perhaps it was or perhaps it wasn’t. Either way I was enjoying myself. It was interesting. I had no idea that I was about to start the first of three linked experiences or events that would directly affect what I think about God, myself and what my future path might be..." Neurofeedback and Meditation teachers Donna Bach and Gary Groesbeck are crossing the Atlantic again for the Netherlands EFT conference in June and will be repeating the Awakened Minds Workshop there.

Photos and Ho'oponopono
Having launched my new website, I have had more comments about the ducks on Skipton's canal than anything else and many of you have praised my photography. Well I feel a bit of a fraud because its the camera and the laptop that do all the work. The pictures were all taken on automatic with my new Nikon D40 digital SLR and then I simply used Auto Correct to colour balance them with a single click. If I can do that then so can you!
Yvonne Green came on my Practitioner workshop last week and enjoyed playing with my camera. Here are links to Yvonne's own photos which she has set to music and the Ho'oponopono phrases. If you are familiar with Ho'oponopono then did you realise you can use "I love you; I'm Sorry; Forgive Me; Thank You" instead of "I truely and deeply accept myself" If that means nothing to you then see Yvonne's website or google Ho'oponopono and find out. |

Seven intrepid and delightful Vikings journeyed in August to Parcevall Hall for a fun and fulfilling EFT retreat. There are three 2009 dates for Parcevall Hall Retreats April, June and August.

New Tapping Groups
Tapping groups are proving to be a great success for sharing, supporting and practicing EFT and here is a list of all that I know of so far. Tapping Groups.doc There is also a list maintained by Masha Bennett on the Healthy Pages website
Faye Carol writes: I would like to start a tapping group in North Manchester. First meeting will be Tuesday 9th Dec 7.30 - 9pm at 578 Manchester Old Rd Rhodes Middleton M24 4Pj. Pat Watson writes: as Cambridgeshire/Lincolnshire haven't got a tapping group yet I would be interested to start one in the Peterborough/Wisbech/Spalding area. EFT Mentoring Circles
When supervision or mentoring as I prefer to call it was added to the AAMET Level 3 requirements earlier in the year I wasn't sure how to deliver group work. Over the year running a few groups a format has evolved which is working really well. The last two groups have given excellent feedback. Click on the Mentoring Circles Link to read about role play tapping which unsticks stuck relationships, particularly that between therapist and client. One of the London group who had been having a tense and fraught relationship with her boss wrote:
"the process was transformational in every way. I feel so loving towards him now. Compassion and kindness. His behaviours no longer trigger me like they used to and I have been able to accept him completely and as a result accept myself too! With kindness! I have since been using the role play tapping process with my clients to resolve relationship conflicts - its a very powerful technique."

EFT Workshop Special Offers and Repeat for Free
Workshop Dates Link for dates and prices of EFT workshops in Ilkley for spring 2009.
Referrals. The online registration system asks "How did you find out?" When someone gives your name you will get either £10 off your next course or a free dvd when they pay in full. So when you spread the word please remind people to give your name so that you get the credit.
Bursary Places. There are one or two bursary places available on each workshop for those who work for a charity, have the permission of the charity to use EFT in their work and are not also running a private practice.
Repeat for Free. If you have trained with me and places are available on Level 1,2 and 3 workshops you can repeat a workshop you have previously attended for no additional cost.
Repeat with Gwyneth. If you have already done AAMET Level 1, 2 or 3 with another EFT trainer and would like to repeat your training with me then you are eligible for a 50% discount on the full price of these workshops.
